Multiple questions...?
Do you crate your dog(s)? If so, why and how long?
Do you have an outdoor kennel for your dog(s)? If so, why and how long are they kept in there?
Are they outdoor or indoor dogs or both? What made you determine to keep them as outside or inside dogs?
Do you use a choke chain? If so, why?
What do you except from a Dog Boarding Facility? What would you want them to have? Product for sale, do your laundry, training, etc.
When my dogs were puppies.. most of them were crated to help with potty training. Only up to 2 hours because their bladders wouldnt hold any more than that. After about 5 months old.. when they were potty trained.. they no longer needed a kennel.
I have 4 kennels in my back yard.. outdoor ones.. about 20x20 and about 8 ft high. They are kept in their ONLY when my females are in heat and we do not want any unwanted pregnancies. They are also used for breeding, to keep the others that we do NOT breed out of the way to avoid mishap pregnancies. But it is very rare we have any in there.. we got them to begin with because we thought we needed them.. but then found it more useful to just keep a very close eye on them..
My dogs are both indoor and outdoor, they LOVE being inside.. but our outdoor play time pretty much consists of LONG walks, trails, hiking, or playing with a few tennis balls out back. Sometimes we take 2 or 3 jogging with us.
No, I do not use a choke chain because I believe all dogs can walk politely with a more humane method. (heel, stay, praise)
I used to work at a boarding facility.. I would expect them to have collars, leashes, toys, treats, some basic training if necessary (for an extra cost)
If i supplied the kennel with blankets for my dogs.. I would definitely expect them to be returned to me CLEAN.. because I would have initially taken them there CLEAN.
